The YMCA of Coastal Carolina recently hosted the Fore the Kids event, raising a total of $17,114. This fundraising effort had a significant impact on local youth programs, with 210 kids learning leadership lessons through team sports, 147 participating in afterschool programs, over 340 acquiring safe water skills, and 189 attending summer camp.

The event also celebrated its competition winners. The 2024 Champions were Anderson Brothers Bank, with South State Bank as the runner-up and Jason Himmelsbach & YourGolfPackage.com placing third. Additionally, Matt Doak from Matt Doak State Farm won the 50/50 Raffle and generously donated his winnings back to support youth programs.

The YMCA thanked participants and the community for their support and engagement in this annual event, which they believe reflects the community's commitment to the growth and development of local youth.
