Friday, Lt. Amanda Hyams graduated from the Florida Sheriffs Association's 2026 Commanders Academy in Tallahassee, according to Pinellas County Sheriff's Office reports.
The two-week program is recognized as the premier course of executive study for mid to upper-level criminal justice leaders, with a curriculum built around leadership, ethics, and discipline, plus coursework shaped by emerging trends in law enforcement.
