Myrtle Beach Police Encourage Donations for Domestic Violence

The Myrtle Beach Police Department is participating in an event for Domestic Violence Awareness Month in October. The event supports the Family Justice Center, which assists victims of domestic violence.

The Family Justice Center is requesting donations of the following items:

- Full-size personal hygiene products (body wash, shampoo, conditioner)

- Dishwashing and laundry detergent, dryer sheets

- Diapers and other children’s supplies

- Canned and non-perishable food items

- Paper goods (toilet paper, paper towels)

- New towels, kitchen towels, sheets (twin and full)

- Women's undergarments

- Socks and house slippers

- Razors, lotion, deodorant

Only new items are accepted.

Donations can be dropped off at the Myrtle Beach Police Department, located at 1101 N. Oak Street. Donations are accepted Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., starting from October 1 through October 31.
