**Cash Purchases Dominate Real Estate Transactions in Several U.S. Cities**

A recent report highlights a significant trend in the U.S. housing market, with cash purchases making up a substantial portion of home sales in several cities. In Austin and Houston, at least 40% of houses sold were purchased with cash.

In Albuquerque, New Mexico, approximately 75% of homes were bought outright without financing. Other cities where 40% of house sales were cash transactions include Myrtle Beach, South Carolina; North Port, Florida; Cape Coral, Florida; Birmingham, Alabama; Memphis, Tennessee; and Las Vegas, Nevada.

Manhattan recorded an even higher percentage of cash transactions, with 67% of its real estate sales being made without mortgages. This pattern suggests a strong cash presence in real estate markets across both smaller cities and major urban areas in the U.S.
