The City of Myrtle Beach Parks, Recreation & Sports Tourism said the Myrtle Beach youth football skills combine for ages 9-10 and 11-12 has been rescheduled for Tuesday, July 7.

The city said each player must go through an evaluation to be fairly added to teams. Players are required to attend one skills combine at Ashley Booth Field before the season starts.

According to the city, players will be tested on speed, agility and overall football skill level so teams can be created with even skill levels.

The city said the age 9-10 group will meet at 5:30 p.m., and the age 11-12 group will meet at 6:45 p.m.. It said no skills combine is required for the age 7-8 group.

Players are told to come wearing a t-shirt, shorts, and athletic shoes. The city said people who cannot make it to the combine should contact Brandon Daniels at 843-918-2296.
