Firefighters train with high angle rope rescue.

Myrtle Beach Fire Department recently conducted high angle rope rescue training at Compass Cove Oceanfront Resort. Mr. Thomas McDonald and the resort allowed the firefighters to rappel approximately 150 feet down an elevator shaft for their training. The firefighters gained valuable experience and had a great time during the exercise.
