Myrtle Beach Offers Intro to Powerlifting Program

The City of Myrtle Beach is offering an Intro to Powerlifting program at Crabtree Memorial Gym. The program runs from September 30 to December 12 for individuals aged 14 and older. Classes will be held on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m.
Recreation Leader Dylan Reyes will provide one-on-one instruction on how to safely and effectively use gym equipment, focusing on the bench press, squat, and deadlift. Participants can also request assistance with other lifting forms.
The cost to enroll in the program is $35 for city residents and $60 for non-city residents. Interested individuals can register online by visiting the Myrtle Beach Parks and Recreation website and navigating to "Adult Programs ➡️ Fitness and Athletics."
