The Myrtle Beach Police Department has established an Internet Purchases Exchange Zone at the Ted C. Collins Law Enforcement Center, located at 1101 N. Oak Street. This designated area is intended to provide a safe environment for individuals making online purchases from private sellers.
The exchange zone is monitored by 24/7 surveillance, adding an extra layer of security for those involved in transactions. The police department emphasizes that staff are available in the building around the clock, ensuring assistance is readily accessible for those using the facility.
