The Garden of Hope will host a Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony on Sunday, December 1st, from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. at 1395 Carver Street in Myrtle Beach. The event is free and will feature live entertainment, hot chocolate, cookies, and food. Children attending will have the opportunity to take photos with Santa Claus. The first 100 children will receive a gift.

If it rains, the event will take place at the Mary C. Canty Recreation Center located at 971 Canal Street. Attendees are encouraged to bring non-perishable food items for the Helping Hand program. Donations can be dropped off at the City Hall from Monday to Friday, between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m.
